I live on the Gordon/St. Croix Flowage; it’s near Gordon, Solon Springs, Wascott, and Minong, Wisconsin. Already familiar with the area, my husand and I finally moved here from the Twin Cities about eight years ago. We found a great neighborhood, and we have some wonderful neighbors. We love living here.

Since we moved here from the Twin Cities, we’ve come to know the area well. We love the outdoors, and we love to get out and explore. I keep current on local events, services, and issues that concern our community. I’m committed to serving the community. I’m currently serving as a board member of the Gordon/St. Croix Flowage Association. I also help design and produce the quarterly newsletter with current information about the Association’s activities and local water quality issues.
Here are a few more things you should know about me as a Realtor:
I really listen to my clients. I’ll listen, and I’ll ask questions to learn more about your needs. If you’re a buyer, I’ll help you find the place that’s right for you, not the place that’s right for me or for someone else. If you’re a seller, I’ll work with you to best leverage your property’s unique assets and to help you find buyers looking for just those qualities in their new home, cabin, or land.My husband Al is a freelance writer; he recently co-authored Krause Publication’s Gut It. Cut It. Cook It: the Deer Hunter’s Guide to Processing and Preparing Venison. As you can tell, he’s an avid hunter. Myself, I’m more interesting in helping my clients buy or sell hunting land. I have, however, had occasion to gain a deeper understanding of what my clients are looking for in a hunting experience and also in the hunting land they hope to purchase.
I believe every client is important. In the past few months, for example, I’ve helped clients buy or sell properties ranging from a $100,000 cabin to a $910,000 home on 128 acres with its own private lake. I’ve listed a variety of properties including primary homes, lake homes, lake lots, luxury homes, hunting land, and cabins. If you check out the descriptions, photos, and YouTube videos for those properties, you’ll see that I gave every one the time and attention it deserved. I’ll do the same for your property.
I’ll give you sound, honest advice that’s in your best interest. I believe that in the long run, integrity pays. If you’re a seller, for example, I won’t tell you what I think you want to hear just so I can get your listing; after all, the numbers are what they are. Instead, I’ll give you a detailed, fact-based, realistic analysis of what your property will really sell for in today’s market.
I believe selling real estate is an art and a science. If you work with me, you’ll get great photos and well-written descriptions that help your property stand out from the crowd. That’s important, but so are the numbers and the details. I offer my clients a thorough market analysis based on comparable properties that are currently on the market and that have sold recently. When you ask about an asking price, I won’t give you an opinion or a guess. I’ll give a number that’s based on the facts. (Actually, it’s usually a range of numbers that depends on variables like what repairs or improvements you’re ready to make, how quickly you’d like to sell, etc.)
I work for positive, win-win outcomes. Let’s face it. Whether you’re buying or selling, real estate transactions can sometimes involve some big decisions and also some big emotions. In today’s challenging market, it’s not always easy bringing buyers and sellers together. That’s an important part of my job, too.
I’m able to think globally and sell locally. I grew up in a small town, lived in the big city for a couple decades, and finally moved north. Although I know the area, I still remember what it was like to be moving here from the city. I’ve been in your shoes, and I’ve experienced some of the same transitions. That broader perspective helps me work effectively with a wide variety of buyers and sellers.
I have connected buyers and sellers throughout Northwest Wisconsin, including Douglas County, Washburn County, Bayfield County, and Sawyer County. Communities include Gordon, Wascott, Solon Springs, Lake Nebagamon, Minong, Barnes, Trego, Spooner, Hayward, and other area communities.
