Pokegama Lake (Minong, Wisconsin)

This 453 acre lake is located just west of Minong, not far from Nancy Lake, the Kimball Lakes Chain, and the Minong Flowage.  It has a shoreline of 6 miles, a maximum depth of 23 feet, and a mean depth of 10 feet.  In it, you’ll find northerns, walleyes, largemouth bass, and panfish.  It’s most known, however, for its bass and panfish.

Much of Pokegema Lake’s shoreline consists of low-lying wetlands that remain undeveloped.  Other parts of the lake are dotted with cabins and lake homes that are available in a range of sizes and prices.  Because most of the buildable shoreline has already been developed, waterfront property come on the market more rarely.  Pokegama Lake’s only public access is the boat landing at the south end of the lake.
