This 423-acre lake is located in the east-central Douglas County; most locals pronounce it “MIN-uh-sung.”  It has a shoreline of around 7 miles, a maximum depth of 43 feet, and a mean depth of 18 feet.  In it, you’ll find northerns, walleyes, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and panfish.  Secchi disk readings are around 7 feet.

Lake Minnesuing is a popular lake for boating and waterskiing.  It has good public access, resorts and campgrounds, and nearby golf courses.  This lake is located just 30 minutes from Superior and Duluth for shopping, healthcare, restaurants, and entertainment.
