Birch Lake is located in the southeastern corner of Washburn county near the town of Birchwood. It is 368 acres with a maximum depth of 73’. There are two public boat access sites.

Birch Lake is best known for recreational boating and some fishing. The fish population includes walleye, LM and SM bass, bluegill, and northern.
