This 523 acre lake is located in eastern Washburn County, just outside the village of Stone Lake. It’s not far from Sawyer County’s WhitefishLake and Lac Court Orielles.
Stone Lake has a shoreline of 4.0 miles, a maximum depth of 49 feet, and a mean depth of 33 feet. (That’s not counting the smaller Little Stone Lake and Spring Lake, whose locations you can see in the aerial.) In Stone Lake, you’ll find northerns, walleyes, largemouth bass, and panfish. Public access is from three different boat landings.
Most of Stone Lake’s shoreline is dottend with cabins and lake homes available in a variety of sizes and price ranges.
